Since the Corona pandemic, we help Senda Verde in the daily maintenance of the wildlife centre.
1000 animals need our help to get food and medical supplies.
Emergency fund #SOS Senda Verde
Senda Verde Wildlife Refuge takes care of wild animals that have been victims of the illegal wildlife trade within the Amazone.
1000 animals live at the shelter – including different species of primates, birds, tortoises, cats of prey and Andean bears. Senda Verde is a Non-Profit-Organisation and covers a big part of its’ costs through tourism and volunteering.
Due to the political situation and since the global Covid crisis, tourism has still not completely recovered and there are little to no volunteers. Vital income covering the daily costs of the refuge is missing.
This is why our family at Senda Verde has made an emergency call back in 2019 through social media asking for goods from the local community and funds from international supporters. It is since then that Animalma has set up an emergency fund to help them from Switzerland through this difficult time.
All donations will be used to buy much needed food and medical supplies for the animals. You can help here:

News & Thank-yous
The emergency fund #SOSSendaVerde has been on-going for over four years. The valuable emergency relief Animalma can bring to Bolivia is still vital and highly appreciated.
All the campaign updates as well as beautiful stories of people supporting us along this difficult project are found below.
Because all of this would not be possible without the help and commitment of our donors and supporters. Thank you so much!
